Councillor David Weaver is a proud fifth-generation farmer who works alongside his wife and sons on their family farm in Boort. Recently, the family celebrated 150 years of farming in Boort.
David is proud and passionate about his community and takes pride in contributing to its growth and resilience. He values spending quality time with his wife and children.
As a Councillor, David is committed to serving the people of Boort with integrity and respect, ensuring that their voices are heard.
In addition to his role as a Councillor, David is also a board member of the North Central Catchment Management Authority, where he advocates for sustainable land and water management practices that benefit the region.
David is the grandson of a former Gordon Shire Councillor and he looks forward to being able to put a focus on local projects to boost the future of the community.
