Inglewood will be this year’s host for the annual Women on Farms Gathering (WOFG) from 27 to 29 March. This will be the first time in ten years that the Gathering has been held in Inglewood.

For over thirty years, WOFG has brought women together to share ideas and build networks, while promoting the essential role that women play in Australia’s agricultural sector and in rural communities.

Over time, the focus has shifted to address the changing needs of farming women with an emphasis on education and training and the value of networking as well as strategies to overcome isolation.

This year’s event will offer a great opportunity to showcase the Loddon Valley with activities including visits to our historic towns, agricultural enterprises and the natural landscape, as well as artistic and cultural experiences.

A Mini Market, with the spotlight on local produce, will operate at the Inglewood Town Hall, in the heart of registration and afternoon tea. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet and shop with producers, makers and creatives from across the Loddon Valley region.

Stallholders already committed include Salute Oliva, Warana Crafts, Bridgewater Berets, Chocolate Chameleon, Honey and Beeswax Products and many more.

The Market will run from 1pm until 5.30pm on Friday 28 March.
