"FEE" FREE WASTE DISPOSAL DAY

Loddon Shire Council is continuing its program of offering residents quarterly free waste disposal at each of its Landfill and Transfer Station locations; dates for the upcoming event are as follows:

Inglewood Transfer Station                             Saturday  15 February  2020    8am  to 12pm

Wedderburn Transfer Station                         Sunday    16 February  2020    8am  to 12pm

Pyramid Hill Landfill                                        Sunday    16 February  2020    8am  to 12pm

Dingee Transfer Station                                  Sunday    16 February  2020    10am to 2pm

Boort Landfill                                                   Sunday    16 February  2020    1pm  to  5pm

Newbridge Landfill                                          Sunday    16 February  2020    1pm  to  5pm

Residents presenting to dispose of waste will be required to provide proof of address showing Loddon Shire residency (e.g. rates notice, licence).  This is an ongoing quarterly service and future dates are listed on Council’s website at:

Residents can dispose of up to 4 cubic metres of general domestic waste free of charge.

This includes the following items:

• green waste
• mixed recyclables
• general household waste
• E-waste:
  • all TVs, computer screens, home appliances and electronic items
  • refrigerators, freezers, microwaves and air conditioners
  • end of life battery operated products

     

    The following items are not included, as these items have additional third party costs associated with their disposal and therefore will be charged as per normal disposal charges:

• tyres
• bricks and concrete
• mattresses
