Standpipe out of action
Published on 30 April 2015
Residents are advised that the Inglewood standpipe is currently out of action after a crack formed around its base.
The standpipe will be decommissioned by Council and temporary measures will be put in place to add a new outlet which will allow for a low fill point from a Camlock fitting.
The future of the standpipe will be discussed at the May Council meeting as it had previously been earmarked for removal.
People who had planned to utilise the Inglewood standpipe can visit the fully operational Bridgewater site in the meantime.
