Partial closure of Loddon River for Junior Ski Development Event 2013

The Loddon Shire under request from the Bridgewater Water Ski Club, as the Waterway Manager for the Loddon River (at Bridgewater between Flour Mill Weir and Sweeney’s Lane), hereby give notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not participating in the Bridgewater Ski Club Junior Ski Development Camp 2013 between 9 - 20 December 2013, between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, are prohibited from entering and remaining in the waters of the Loddon River at the Exclusive Use and Special Purpose Area (slalom/jump area) as gazetted in Waterway Rules Schedule 62 clause 62.7 and the temporary slalom course approximately 500 metres south from the southern boat ramp within the Bridgewater Public Caravan Park.

At the completion of each day’s event the area will revert back to Schedule 62 of Waterway Rules.
