Notice of Proposed Budget 2016/17

Council has prepared a Budget for 2016/17 after consideration at the Ordinary Meeting held on Tuesday 24 May 2016 and now gives notice to advertise the Draft Budget. Copies of the Draft Budget will be available for inspection from Monday 30 May 2016 to Monday 27 June 2016 during office hours at the Wedderburn and Serpentine Shire offices, at post offices, resource centres and neighbourhood houses across the municipality, and on www.loddon.vic.gov.au /our-documents.

Written submissions on the Draft Budget must be received before close of business on Monday 27 June 2016. Address submissions to the Acting Chief Executive Officer and clearly state whether you wish to be heard in person or by a person acting on your behalf. All written submissions will be made publicly available for inspection.   

Council will meet to consider submissions and the adoption of the Draft Budget at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Tuesday 28 June 2016 at 3.00pm at the Council Chambers, Peppercorn Way, Serpentine. Council will give public notice of its decision.
