NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMIT

The land affected by the application is lot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,13, 14,15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 53, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, TP 944311(bound by the Bendigo-Pyramid Road to the north and the Echuca-Serpentine Road to the south) and Crown Allotment 108A, 108B, 105, 106A, 106B, 106C, 107, 28A, 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, 2035, 2036, 2037, 60A, 2039, 2040, 81A, 2041, 2042, 2044, 2045, 117B and 2047.

The planning permit application is for the use and development of the land for a 240 MW renewable energy facility (solar farm) and utility installation and associated buildings and works within the Farming Zone, alteration of access to Road Zone Category 1 and native vegetation removal.   

The application reference number is 5376.

Inspection of the application and any supporting documents may be undertaken at the office of the responsible authority, Loddon Shire Council at 41 High Street Wedderburn during office hours, free of charge.

Any person who may be affected by the granting of the permit may object or make other submissions to the responsible authority.

An objection must be made to the responsible authority in writing, include the reasons for the objection and state how the objector would be affected.

The responsible authority must make a copy of every objection available at its office for any person to inspect during office hours free of charge until the end of the period during which an application may be made for review of a decision on the application.

The responsible authority will not decide on the application before 28 August 2018.

All objectors shall be advised of the Responsible Authority’s decision.
