Marilyn exhibition inspires Inglewood

Published on 10 March 2016

Bendigo Art Gallery’s Marilyn Monroe exhibition is bringing an undeniable sense of excitement to the city and nearby Inglewood’s crammed collectables stores are lending spirited support.

All five businesses have decorated their windows with memorabilia devoted to the screen icon and the golden age of Hollywood movies she represents.

Travellers from the north via the Calder Highway will find a stopover a pleasant surprise, while those keen to see more of Bendigo’s hinterland can visit Septembre Café and Vintage Wares in Eddington or Bridgewater’s Tumbleweeds & Toadstools.
