Easter opening for new park

The completion of the irrigation pumping system at the Bridgewater Caravan Park this week has provided a boost to progress.
The fact that the system is now working means the grassed areas can be properly laid out and watered.
Elsewhere, all sheds and barbecue shelters are complete, barbecues have been assembled and footings for the manager’s residence have been poured in readiness for the pre-built residence to be transported to the site.
Council CEO John McLinden welcomed these latest signs of progress at the park.
"We expect to be open for Easter, right through the school holidays and the following Anzac Day weekend," he said.
"We still have some minor hurdles to jump, but are looking forward to the beginning of a brand new park with plenty of visitors.”
Mayor of the Loddon Shire, Cr Gavan Holt said, “The return of holiday makers to the Bridgewater on Loddon Public Caravan Park will be a great boost to the people and the businesses of Bridgewater and Inglewood.”
