Draft Council Plan

Loddon Shire Council has resolved at the Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday 26 April 2017 to advertise the Draft Council Plan.

Copies of the Council Plan will be available for inspection from Monday 1 May 2017 to Monday 29 May 2017 during office hours at the Shire Offices in Wedderburn and Serpentine. The Draft Council Plan can also be accessed on Council’s website on www.loddon.vic.gov.au /our-documents.

In accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989, any person proposing to make a written submission on a proposal contained in the Draft Council Plan should do so before Monday 29 May 2017. Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Loddon Shire Council, PO Box 21, Wedderburn, Vic 3518. Persons making a written submission should clearly state whether they wish to be heard in person or by a person acting on their behalf in support of the written submission.

Council will meet to consider any submissions at the Council Forum on Tuesday 13 June 2017 at the Wedderburn Council Offices, High Street, Wedderburn. Council will then consider adoption of the Council Plan at the Ordinary Meeting of Council on Tuesday 27 June 2017 at 3.00pm at the Council Chambers, Peppercorn Way, Serpentine. Council will give public notice of its decision.
