Domestic Wastewater Management Plan

The Domestic Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP) 2015-2019 has been prepared to assist in meeting Council’s obligations under the State Environment Protection Policy (Waters of Victoria), it will replace the previous plan adopted by Council in 2007.

The implementation of the DWMP will utilise Council’s existing resources and primarily focuses on the development of relevant policies and procedures within the wastewater area. The development of a communication program will also be a key outcome for this plan.

Public comment on the draft DWMP is now being sought.  A copy of the plan may be obtained from Council’s website here with submissions closing on Friday 3 July.   For more information, contact the Wedderburn Council office on 5494 1200.
