Dingee Preschool - Fathers Day annual gumboot throw

The weather remained friendly for families of Dingee Preschool to celebrate Father’s Day with their Annual Gumboot Throw on Thursday 1 September.

This year’s winners were:

  • egg and spoon race - Oliver and Craig Lister
  • three legged race - Tom and Scott Tweed
  • junior gumboot champion - Caitlin Ralphs with a throw of 7.86 meters
  • gumboot champion - Dustin Pascoe with a new record throw of 31 metres

Colby Collins still holds the title of the longest gumboot throw for a junior. He threw the gumboot 13.65 metres in 2009.
