Businesses, community groups and regional stakeholders are invited to have their say about tourism in the region as part of the upcoming Destination Management Plan (DMP).

Bendigo Regional Tourism together with tourism strategists The Tourism Collective, are working on the development of an updated DMP for the region. The DMP will incorporate Local Area Action Plans for each area, including for Loddon Shire.

If you contribute to tourism in our Loddon Shire, or would like to have a say, you’re asked to provide your thoughts, including challenges and opportunities for tourism in the wider Bendigo region via the survey.

The survey should only take around five to ten minutes to complete, and is open until this Sunday 26 November.

No prior reading or specific knowledge is required, with all perspectives and ideas welcome.

The role of a DMP is to bring together all tourism stakeholders, including the community, under a shared vision for the future of tourism, and to uncover the opportunities that support the achieving that vision.
