“FEE” FREE WASTE DISPOSAL DAY February 2019

Loddon Shire Council is offering residents free waste disposal at each of its Landfill and Transfer Station locations on the following 2019 dates:

Inglewood Transfer Station           Saturday       16 February 2019   8.00am  to 12.00pm
Boort Landfill                                 Sunday         17 February 2019   1.00pm  to  5.00pm
Pyramid Hill Landfill                      Sunday         17 February 2019    8.00am  to 12.00pm
Newbridge Landfill                        Sunday         17 February 2019    1.00pm  to  5.00pm
Wedderburn Transfer Station       Sunday         17 February 2019    8.00am  to 12.00pm
Dingee Transfer Station               Sunday         17 February 2019    10.00am to 2.00pm

Residents presenting to dispose of waste will be required to provide proof of address showing Loddon Shire residency (eg. Rates Notice, Licence).  This will be an ongoing quarterly service and future dates and times will be advertised leading up to each event.

Residents can dispose of up to 4 cubic metres of general domestic waste free of charge.
This includes the following items:-
      • green waste
      • mixed recyclables
      • general household waste
      • E-waste
            o All TV’s, computer screens, home appliances and electronic items
            o Refrigerators, freezers, microwaves and air conditioners
            o End of life battery operated products

The following items are not included, as these items have additional third party costs associated with their disposal and therefore will be charged as per normal disposal charges:
      • tyres
      • bricks and concrete
      • mattresses
