Dr Rob Gordon to present at Dingee Community Dinner

I invite the community to join clinical psychologist Dr Rob Gordon for a dinner at the

Dingee Hotel on Wednesday, 13 September 2023.

Dr Gordon has worked extensively in the field of disaster recovery, assisting people and

communities after floods, cyclones, fire and other events throughout Australia.

The community dinner will get underway at 6pm, for a 6.30pm start. This event will include free meals, and drinks will be available at bar prices.

Dr Gordon began working in the field in disaster recovery following Ash Wednesday in 1983

and has dedicated his career to helping communities and emergency services workers

recover after disasters.

He offers support and insight into the different ways we may find ourselves thinking and

feeling as we navigate recovery, both now and in the future.

I encourage our community to attend the dinner on 13 September and take the

opportunity to hear from Dr Gordon.

Calivil Bowling Club works set to commence

Construction will commence this week with the installation of the synthetic green at the Calivil Bowling Club. Contractors anticipate an eight week construction program, which is great news for the club and the reserve, which also saw the installation of the flood lighting on the oval.

I would like to wish all the fathers out there a Happy Father Day for last Sunday, 3 September. I hope you all enjoyed the special day and were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.
