It’s time to start walking
Friday the 10th of May is National Walk Safely to School Day and I’m encouraging families and students to participate in this initiative, which aims to raise awareness about health, physical activity and road safety.
Now in its 25th year, this initiative aims to encourage all primary school children across Australia to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle by simply including a walk at the beginning, at lunchtime and at the end of each day. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or carer - everyone has a role in helping children and young people lead active healthy lives.
