IDHS Art Exhibition
Inglewood and Districts Health Service are holding the first Art Exhibition to display the creative talents of our residents. The exhibition is to be officially opened, by the CEO of Inglewood and Districts Health Service, Dallas Coghill at 11 am.
The hall will be a colourful spectacle, come and view over 100 pieces of art created by the IDHS residents and more from local artists, community groups and schools. There will be refreshments available, art prizes, and a raffle and our greeting cards featuring our resident’s art will also be for sale.
The Art workshops introduced through restrictions have continued on, through the kind donations from the Wedderburn Craft Group and our resident’s family members. IDHS residents have used various mediums such as sculpture, water paint, acrylics and pencil. As part of this program, some residents chose to sit as models and had their forms painted. The resident’s art has since featured in the form of greeting cards are available for sale at reception to help fundraise for future Leisure and Lifestyle activities.
