Boort Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service moving to new rooms
Published on 13 June 2023
Loddon Shire’s Maternal and Child Health service in Boort will be moving to new rooms at Boort District Health from Tuesday 13 June.
The move to Boort District Health, located at 31 Kiniry Street, follows feedback from Maternal and Child Health (MCH) clients via recent surveys.
Council’s Director Community Wellbeing Wendy Gladman thanked MCH clients for taking the time to provide their feedback.
“In response to this feedback, Council will be moving to Boort District Health, providing a more user-friendly experience for our MCH families,” Mrs Gladman said.
“The previous MCH facility located at the back of Boort Resource and Information Centre was a wonderful site for many years of our service; with the move to Boort District Health providing us with a great opportunity to improve the delivery this important service to local families.”
“Additionally, being located in Boort District Health, means families will be able to readily connect with other health and wellbeing services,” Mrs Gladman added.
The MCH Service at Boort District Health will be open every Tuesday by appointment.
