Tarnagulla History Archive Front.jpg

The Tarnagulla History Archive is a repository for all things related to the local history of Tarnagulla and its surrounding district. The Archive holds photographs, records and artefacts and is situated within the historic Victoria Hotel and Theatre complex, which functions as Tarnagulla's Public Hall. The collection can be searched online at https://victoriancollections.net.au/organisations/tarnagulla-archive-room

At our Open Days visitors can:

  • View temporary displays of local history images, footage and artefacts
  • Have local and family history questions answered by a local historian
  • Lodge research requests
  • Order copies of historical images
  • Buy local history books
  • Register interest as a volunteer, a donor or for email updates.

The Archive is sometimes open to the public on Open Days from 10am-3pm. We will also accommodate access by appointment wherever possible (please email us).
