Listing of community events - terms and conditions

1. The event must be open to the public and be located within Loddon Shire Council.
2. Your event details may be used in Council publications, passed onto other organisations and/or distributed to the community.
3. Council reserves the right to either reject or remove any event listing from its site(s) for any reason whatsoever.
4. Event details are subject to editing and approval by Loddon Shire Council prior to or once they are published. However, Council accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors and requires that organisers be accurate before adding an event.
5. Council is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an event organiser as a result of failure or delay in listing an event.
6. The advertiser indemnifies Council against all claims, actions, suits, liabilities, costs and expenses incurred on any account by Council as a result of the listing or intended listing of any event by that event organiser on this site or any other site.
7. Council is not reliable for any loss or damage incurred by an event organiser as a result of failure or delay in listing an event.
8. Council will not be held responsible for any events listed on the calendar that are not deemed as a success.
9. It is unlawful for an event organiser to include discrimination on the basis of sex, pregnancy, age, race or political or religious beliefs unless covered by an exception or the event organiser has an exemption under relevant legislation. Council will not accept event listings that appear to be contrary to law.
10. Council is not responsible for populating the calendar with event listings, this is responsibility of the event organiser.
